What happens when you put in a dvd? Does Windows see the drives?

Hi,

Have to go to “my computer” > play or run > windows media player opens and plays DVD  but no Sound, have tried other DVD’s  but still no sound.
If I play a Film from a file it opens in media player, plays with sound without any problems !!

hello!

have you tried updating your version of WMP or the Windows itself?
