Title: Determining processor speed
Post by: gammylynn on March 09, 2009, 01:43:39 PM
I have an older pc that has Windows 98. I am trying to figure out the speed
of the processor. The only info I have is that it is an Intel 82439hx. Any ideas?

open the 'system information' program by either typing "msinfo32" (without quotes) into the run box from the start menu, or system properties by right clicking the my computer icon and clicking properties

The first one will give you more than enough information, I just added the second one as I am not 100% sure it works on Win 98  ::)
