Title: downloading video camera problem

im having problems downloading videos from a video camera to my laptop where can i go on my computer to fix this problem ???

I had a similar problem with my computer and camera and found that its because the camera needed to be ON when connecting to laptop. If this is not the same issue your having then what camera are you using make/model so we can check into it? Also what is make/model of computer?
