Title: Pushing a button or following a link doesn't appea
Post by: starcat83 on December 06, 2005, 06:31:46 PM
Like when I'm filling out something, and click the next button, nothing happens. It doesn't do that for all web pages, just some. I have no idea whats going on. I even went into the internet settings n toggled the java thing on, and nothing. Does anyone know what the deal is?

Is it the same web pages all the time or just a random thing?
Have you tried a different mouse, perhaps your mouse button is becoming intermittant.

Nope, same web pages. And my mouse works fine. This happenec since I install the Sims 1 on my puter, then installed an import to that one (can't member what to call it right now. like I have the Sims 1, then I added the Love game to it......GrRRr darn brain freeze!)

But I tried to uninstall both games, but I can't. So since then, I 've been haveing this problem. *ShRugs* :-/

It really doesn't sound related to your sims games, unless of course one of your downloads contained a nasty.
Try these IE settings first...

1. Start
2. Settings
3. Control Panel
4. Internet Options
5. Security tab
6. Reset all security zones to Default

And/or

1. Start
2. Settings
3. Control Panel
4. Internet Options
5. Advanced
6. Restore Defaults button.

You may need to do the following as well

1. Start
2. Settings
3. Control Panel
4. Internet Options
5. General tab
6. Remove cookies, temporary files and history

Kudos to Raptor.

If you have a popup blocker that may prevent a page from loading.
