I hate it because I have had problems with it since I installed it............anyway, I am afraid the problem may be my processor has given up the ghost. I can't get my pc to do anything at all now.........so I suppose I am in the market for a new one.

IMO w2k is rock solid, I've tried them all except for '95.
Either way, it doesn't matter what OS you use if your hardware is broken.

Windows 95 is just 98 with fewer bells and more bugs!  You haven't missed out on much, Fed.

When you installed Windows 2000, was it an upgrade from a previous operating system or a clean installation of the full version of Windows 2000?

If it was an upgrade, was the previous operating system having problems before you installed 2000?
