::) I Cloned the hard drive to onother one as back up
and when I found out (windows me ) the was only restore folder on the hard drive I cloned to what is the problem with Norton Ghost

Well, I can't tell ya what's wrong with Norton Ghost, but I can tell you that I used to have Windows ME, and Windows ME is the MOST unreliable operating system that Microsoft has ever released. I would say to get the Windows XP upgrade disk and use XP instead. As for your ghost data, and to see how to get it all back, I would say to call or email your computer manufacturer. They will help you get your information back.

You should have got a copy of XP as an adjunct to that new HD, then you can install a real OS in that machine and copy your data from the old drive after you finish the OS install. Add the old drive as slave to the new one after install...
