Title: prototype wont change resolution?

I just got this game prototype and tried to put everything on high but the resolution wont change! Its stuck at 1280x720 and when I try to change it, it goes to a black screen then comes back to the game and stays the same.  Its a really fun game but I want my resolution to be higher  >:( There are no patches or anything for it right now

Ok I just tried to set it at different resolutions and every single one worked except 1920x1080
