Hi, i desperately come to this forum looking for a solution to my problem. My career and my job its at stake, so please help me if you can. :-\ :-\
I use to have an user with a password, and all the files were protected with the password too, but all of a sudden a virus attacked my computer and i wasnt able to enter with ANY user, so i took my hard drive and i slaved it to another computer. But now i can not access the documents from that user, since they are in a secondary hard drive. When i try to open the files a window comes up telling me that these files are password protected (i do remember the password). And this really scares me, the size of the folder is o.o kb, does this mean i lost EVERYTHING?? ??? ??? ??? ??? Thanks for your help.
I use Windows XP SP2. :) :) :)

Have you tried the below ?

Are you using XP Home or Pro? Also, how did you password protect the files themselves?
-
when connected the HD as a slave wasnt there any announcement at the startup?
you say that the folder in the HD when connected as slave is 0 kb?
can you log in safemode?
and just an advice. if [/quote]My career and my job its at stake, so please help me if you can.
you can always go (with the whole computer, both HD) to an expert and pay some bucks.
