Title: How does a game trial know you've played this game already on this pc?
Post by: emre73 on December 05, 2017, 03:53:54 AM
To be more specific, I have downloaded the game Gazillionaire 3 in a virtual box (windows xp). The virtual box can't connect to the internet. How does the game still know that I already downloaded and played 90min? How can I completely remove it to keep on playing? ???

Details:
Gazillionaire is a game created by Lava mind back in 1996!

We don't assist with by-passing software regulations....

Being its an old title it should be pretty cheap to buy through ebay or amazon used but legit licensed version etc.

I used ebay and amazon to get older titles of games. Just got Hunter Hunted the other day for $5 on amazon with free shipping.  :)

"Trial" game and software versions will store the information that limits  their use (making them a trial) in any of a large number of locations and where it is is going to depend on the specific title.

We aren't going to help you investigate it so that you can extend your trial.
