Why can't I play Age of Empire II (and its expansion) ??? Is it because I have Windows XP ???

You expect us to be able to tell you anything with the information you provided us?

At least we know you are on Windows XP...

I assume it is safe to ask that you have downloaded the latest patches for Microsoft: Ages of Empires II and have searched through the Microsoft.com database?
