Post by: Marcus Lee on November 15, 2005, 12:30:59 AM
I had encountered the problem of  loading ghost.exe from a PC Dos boot disk floppy created by Norton Ghost 2003. The PC Dos was booted up, but when loading the ghost.exe, an error message was appearing as follows:    Loading ....

Can anyone help?

The floppy disk was created and then booted on the same machine.
Thanks for your help!

The only reason i asked is when i used Ghost on another machine that i  didn't create the disk on i remember a similiar message.
I would try making a new boot disk and see how that works.
Also the image file can't be on the same partition/drive you are trying to restore.

hi .
i think maybe that the ghost disk was not created in the right way.try to create it again from an other pc.
or you can doot up the pc form an win98 cd and make a ghost.exe cd and work with the cd's.
i've tried it , it worked

 Hello,
You try to create the boot disk no with PC-DOS, Create it with MS-DOS. If it needs command.com, create MS-DOS startup disk and place it your Floopy Drive and you`ll crete bt disk NGhost 2003 by MS-DOS.

It`s because, (your problem) your comp is not supports PC-DOS.Bye...
