Title: Issues cloning hard drive
Post by: suomyona on September 30, 2016, 06:30:36 PM
Ive been trying to get a clone done as my hard drive is failing and the last clone I did said "read failed 13-32" or some error like that at 97 percent completion. Now Im stuck with this (image) and using the new hard drive says "computer something has to be repaired" im just wondering if its possible to return my brand new drive to normal again or what it is I should do now. Ugh I wish I just got a new computer this has been an endless situation.

With the installation media and healthy hard drive installed you should be able to wipe it clean and perform clean install. Not sure how you have 6 partitions and then 8 partitions between drive 0 and drive 1 and multiples of partitions you should only have 1 of per drive. Backup your important data to an external hard drive and then perform clean install to new drive vs a clone.
