Title: dvd drive wont read cds
Post by: baller123 on December 28, 2006, 03:09:16 PM: :-? Hi my computer isnt reading burned cds that i burned like a music remix or my data cds that i burned. Please help me!

My computer info
Intel Pentium 4 Processor 2.66 GHz
nvidea gf card
512 mb ram
120 gb hard drive
windows xp professional sp2
DVD + RW / CD-RW Multi Format Drive

What burning software did you use to make the music and/or data files?

Have you tried uninstalling the DVD drive and then reinstalling it ?

Can these burnt cds be read ok on another machine or in another cd/dvd drive on that machine ?

Post by: dl65 on December 28, 2006, 05:08:29 PM: baller123..... go into control panel / system / Hardware tab ...... then click device manager ...... then scroll down to dvd /cd drives and click on the + sign in front of the listing ........ then double click your dvd drive .....when the drive properties box opens... click on the driver tab and then choose whatever option you want.

Post by: baller123 on December 28, 2006, 07:46:51 PM: i finalized my burning and than i tried it on my dads laptop and it works but than i try it on mines and nothing pops up at all. Please help. :-?
