Title: Can't replace DVD driver
Post by: longshot on December 21, 2010, 11:20:36 AM
Hi,
I have a Dell 1420 laptop that has a non working DVD driver. I tried to load a new one, but it said that the one I had was the most current. So then I uninstalled the one driver so that I could load a non corrupt copy. I downloaded the correct driver to my desktop but it will not load. What am I doing wrong? Obviously, I cannot load the driver from my Dell CD.
Thank you,
Bob

You could install the driver from the internet, usb-stick or such
