Post by: zandu on May 04, 2007, 05:21:35 AM
Hi I have a laptop ,that I need to do a clean install. I cant use the xp cd it doesnt boot up . so has any one used the ultimate boot cd , if so how do I do it ? it was working well running xp , then I messed it up trying to install linux on it , after hours of frustration I have come to the conclusion that a clean install has to be the only way
I can boot using the ubcd , so I need instructions on how to format it from there ?

You need to set the first boot device as CD-ROM player in the BIOS. Even my laptop from 1997 can boot from the CD, so yours can as well.
