I was reading about vistas feature to resize partions from disk management pretty straight foward but what if I wanted to go back to one big partition is there a way to reclaim unalocated space?? Thanx in Adv.
-
Yes.
I assume you already have entered the Disk Manager tool
BTW: I am really multitasking... so if I dont get the message of what to over very well, please tell me
Down below, under the drive list, there is a selection of all the partitions (it looks kind of like a timeline)
Right click on the partition that you no longer want, and click Delete (or click Shrink, if you just want it smaller)
Now right click on the partition that you want bigger, and click "Extend"
Adjust as needed from there.

Vista does not include Partition Magic...they are 2 different things.

See, Vista has good features, Patio.
fat_basterd21, I should probably mention:
Dont remove your SWAP partition, if you can see it. (Or any system partitions, for that matter)
