Oh, I found out what causes the AMT subsystem failure, it's a failure in the licensing subsystem. A quick call to Adobe and they should sort it out for you.  :)

he never said CS3 was counterfeit- it's not an MS product.

BUT the issue your encountering is fairly localized to invalid licenses which- surprise surprise- are almost always pirated copies.

If it's Legit adobe won't have a problem fixing you up. After all, part of the hefty price tag is support!

You don't have a proper license. that's what is wrong. and you can only get a proper one by calling adobe, something you obviously have difficulty doing, for reasons that I'm sure we all know.

Well I did just logon to my account at Adobe. It just sucks cause all the Adobe staff is gone by the time I get home from work.

I have been reading the forums there and never can find a good out take. The best I have found was delete all Adobe uploads and try to reinstall.

But now I can't even uninstall my Photoshop CS3.

But when I do find out what is up. I'll post it.  Reading the Adobe Forums this is a A pain for a lot of users.

OK I'll come Clean.

On Dec 27, 2007. My family knew how much I love doing Sigs, Wallpapers and Ava's. with Paint.

So they ask me what was the best program out there to do so. I said PS CS3.

So I got it for X-mess from my Mom and Wife. Photoshop CS3 Extended and Lightroom. All for $1,216.88 US
