Title: My laptop computer shows Im connected to the internet but I can't get online

All of a sudden my laptop computer wont let me connect online.I had comcast come out and try to figure it out.They said there modem has a good connection,and shows this on my laptop,but when I try to get on a web site it says cannot view this page.I hooked up my old laptop and it works fine,so I know it has something to do with my computer
