Title: Real-Time Kernel
Post by: Eric_Schmidt on June 13, 2004, 09:52:10 AM
What exactly is meant by the term Real-Time Kernel and what function does it perform?

As far as I can guess from your "context-less" message, I would believe that it would be the kernel of your operating system, which performs the basic tasks of booting up your computer and some other basic commands before the rest of the operating system kicks into action.

Thanks Folklore. This RTK is being used on a WinNt Based system of which MS BackOffice is the core OS for a number of different platforms. It seems that the RTK is failing and I didn't know whether to troubleshoot MS BackOffice  or go on to the other Apps.

Thanks Again
