Title: help with hd

I just put in a WD500 gig HD, BIOS sees it, Windows Device Manager sees it but it wont show up so I can use it. Any suggestions?

Ive tried using disk mgmt and initalized the disk but it still does not recognize it.

Go back to Disk Management and assign it a drive letter.  Right-click on the partition displayed on the right.

the only options it gives me are
convert to dynamic disk, properties, and help
