Title: Server 586 Networking

Here is the thing not sure how to network this unit, but I am useing the rj45 connector.  It doesnt have a ip, net sub, router number assigned to it.  Do I have to give it one or do I have to asgin it threw the OS.

In order to join 2 computers together through an RJ45 connection, you will need either 2 straight-through cables or 1 crossover cables. You will need something on the network to give toe 2 computers IP addresses or you will need to assign static IP addresses (on all devices connecting to the network).
