I used my printer and ipod the other day and everything was fine. When I hooked up my ipod to download my podcast I notice it wasn't reconizing it. So I tryed another port.to no avail. Went to divice manage and all 5 usb port showed faing with the yellow !.. tryed to to update and this is what I get. Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) I running WinXP Media center Edition..version 202..service pack 3

Re-install your MBoard chipset Drivers with the USB hub disconnected...
Do a few reboots after.
Then reconnect

Here are your drivers! (click) (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk&product=3316247&lang=en#)

See 'Original Drivers' and then 'Fall 2006 Original Intel Chipset Drivers'.

Here is a direct link (Right-Click, Save As) (http://ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software7/COL18942/pv-49031-1/sp26800.exe) if you want it easy. =P

Click on that name. A new window with all information about it appears.
Click on 'Download', a new window pops up saying 'sp26800.exe'.
Click 'Save File'.

Run the .exe from where you put it, to install it.

Then do a few reboots like patio said.

Done!

It seems you have to wait a few seconds before clicking 'save file'.
Since I'm a friendly guy, I put your file directly on an internet space I have.

Download it here (right click, save as). (http://www.humyo.com/9293215/Other/sp26800.exe)

Tryed what you said..Says there may be a hardware problem or software needs install. won't do nothing. I don't know if this has anything to do with this. I went to uninstall a  program before all of this happened, control panel> add & remove> and it won't let me remove anything if I wanted to...It don't even give me the option. It show all programs but no remove option.Have to go do some work..check back after a while. Thanks again everyone....
