When trying to install a computer game onmy laptop I get the error message:
Runtime Error 339
Component 'R2CTLNS.OCX' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid.
This game has previously installed and played fine on this laptop. Since then we have restored the laptop to factory settings so obviously all traces of the game have been removed, along with everything else. Since then we have reinstalled Windows and all drivers etc. All other programmes are running fine.
Any ideas what the problem is?
Cheers.
Ooh also, Ive put this as a software problem because I believe its something to do with corrupted ActiveX files. Another big problem however is that I can't get into windowsupdate.com it says that it cannot open the window.

1. Install updated drivers
2. Scan for viruses, trojan horses and spyware
3. Clean your registry.
4. Update DirectX
