Well after going to  Services I went to start the workstation service and it gave me the error  "Windows could not start the workstation service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start" sooo I ran    sfc/scannow and its currently running.. Ill let you know what happens.

Forget a restore point. Start using disc imaging software. If you don't want to purchase the best (Acronis True Image) there are plenty of free alternatives.
