I just upgrade XP to windows 7 on my laptop and I'm not getting any sound. I checked the device manager and it says the device is working properly. checked volume and nothing is muted. in windows media player and other players they say their running but still no sound. also the driver says its up to date. any suggestions?

What is the make and model of the laptop?

Lenovo 3000 n100

Any Yellow ?? or !!'s in Device Manager ? ?

There are two devices that are unidentified and I can't figure out what they are?

You can try to reload the drivers......uninstall the items that are unidentified and then reinstall the sound drivers.

Have you checked to see if Lenovo has drivers for W7?

Yes go to the manufactures site for proper drivers if they provided any.
