Why don't you start at the beginning and explain EXACTLY what your problem is and what browser(s) you are using.

There are no guarantees when it comes to browser compatibility and Flash. You're talking about a browser plug-in from one company working on a browser from another company working on an OS which may or may not be from a third company (depending on the browser).

Along the lines of what Allan said, if you're having some issue then give the details so we can give a proper solution.

Like Allan said a lot more information is really needed.

But I'm going to make a WAG anyway.

When upgrading Flash, sometimes all previous versions of flash need to be deleted (through the add/remove programs in control panel) before the new version can be downloaded.

And I'm not sure any browser is better than another when it  comes to flash.  There is a reason Apple doesn't want anything to do with flash, but most of us are kind of stuck with it, and all in all it's really not that bad.

.There is a reason Apple doesn't want anything to do with flash ...
Are you saying Apple avoids Flash?  I don't believe that.  Since the use of Flash by a website is determined by the website developer, it's use for web content is not something chosen by the computer user browsing the web nor is it determined by what OS is being used.

Apple does not allow Flash on their portable devices (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) because of the high processing power needed to run.
Adobe Flash works perfectly on other Apple products.

I think most people are like me and are getting sick of flash. I am SO glad sites like Youtube are converting to HTML5. Flash always slowed down my computer and drained my battery.

In my opinion HTML5 is, as Apple says, the future of web content delivery.

Plus, Firefox can use the OGG video format for videos, and it displays them without any plugin.

I'm also having an adobe flash player 10 problem.

My problem started on Youtube when nothing would play and displays the message "you need to upgrade Adobe flash player to watch this video."  So I went and downloaded the new Adobe and installed it yet it still doesn't seem to work.  I'm really confused now and starting to lose hair, please help!

I thought Youtube has converted over to HTML5?

Nevertheless, start a new topic Deadhand.
