Title: sometimes TASKMGR.exe uses high CPU amount. WHY?

Sometimes my computer seems to run slowly, and I open windows task manger to see what's causing it, I sometimes see TASKMGR.exe to be on high CPU usage. WHY?

I'm sure it is not a malware or virus, cuz AVAST, and malwarebytes both say my computer is clean.

Define "high cpu usage". And is task manager the only process using the cycles?

Sometimes I see 90-some % CPU usage.

At this very moment, I have the Windows Task Manager opened and I see TSKMGR.exe is hovering at about 52%.

Okay. Regardless of what you said about avast and malwarebytes I'd still go through the process if I were you - just to be certain - especially if this just started out of the blue:

Use Cleaner
Restart
Boot into Windows, install default VGA adapter
restart
Install drivers
restart

Computer still seems to be clean, but my dad said my pc seemed bit slow at times yesterday when he wasn't using his stock analysis software he installed on my pc. He said taskmgr.exe was still bit high, but right now it seem ok at 5% usage.

SAS detected nothing either. I personally usually don't get problems my computer in terms of it being slow but my dad did when he borrowed my pc oddly.

You need to post the logs in the malware forum so one of CH's malware specialists will find them.
