Title: Sound on PC
Post by: Zsnake on September 11, 2010, 01:10:16 PM
I received a U-tube link from a friend and tried to play the clip. No sound would come on. I checked my cable and volumn control and they were OK. I then went into the "Sounds and Audio devices" thing at the control panel and it tells me that I hace "NO AUDIO DEVICE" and "NO Sound Play Back" "NO MIDI (Whatever that is). So, how do I get my sound capability back?????

Your sound chip may be dead.
Try to go to HP site, download and install new sound driver, but since you have "NO AUDIO DEVICE", I wouldn't hold your breath.
