Title: USB flash drive not allowed to write in

I have a 2GB Toshiba USB flash drive and has been working properly since last week (able to copy to and from the drive, amend or delete files on the drive.

Yesterday, I copy so many files about 0.8 GB to the drive from C drive and suddenly stop file copying and then the drive does not allow to copy files to the drive or amend the file in the drive, but able to copy the file out to c drive.  An indication is shown the device is write protected meaning the drive become useless.  Using format under DOS environment, the drive not allow to perform the execution  (format f: ).

Pl help me if possible your expertise's experience to solve it thanks a lot

Some USB flash drives have a small button which write protects them, if there is one on your flash drive, have you accidentally engaged it.
