Title: Lcd Monitor refresh rate affect games?

Hi, I have a "iiyama LCD monitor" and wanted to know if the refresh rate effects games. The refresh  is currently set at 60 hertz, but do I need to have it set higher and what gains would I get by doing this? I think I can get it set at 75 hertz but I have to lower my resolution on my desktop.

Actually, refresh rate has little to no effect on an LCD monitor. I'm sure you can find that reported in any number of documents available online about the subject. If you wish to understand more, search for "LCD monitor refresh rates" on Google, Bing, Yahoo, or your favorite search engine.
