Title: speed up- aNOTHER question

I was wondering if your computer is kinda laggy how would you make it less laggy should i use defrag, cause that's all i know hiow to do is their like other ways, like programs to speed it up or like methods or something? thanks

I usually defrag my computer every week or two whether it needs it or not.  Defrag if you haven't done that for awhile.

Download & run ccleaner then do a defrag.

Adding RAM can help and is usually the cheapest way of making the computer operate faster.

Which Operating System are you using and what are the current specifications?

I have a 1.2 GHZ compaq presario 256 ram i think

and may i ask how you add ram to your computer? do you go like add it from the back on the tower and unscrew it and stuff?
