my freecom external hard drive classic can be seen in add hardware wizard and on the taskbar usb notification but cannot be seen in my computer window

What does Disk Management show?

disk management did not show anything about the disk

When you hook up the external hard drive to your computer, does your EHD stays green or continously blinking?
