Title: Folder Properties shows after a long time

Hello Friends I have a problem of Windows Xp Service Pack 2. The problem is whenever I right click the properties of any folder it doesnt show quickly it takes a high amount of time to show any folder or file properties.
Please can anyone help me in this.

Is that the only problem you are experiencing? Has it always been this way or did it just start? What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?
