Religion and politics
Posts can be made in the off-topic section only about religion and politics as long as they're purely informative and contain no bias. This same rule applies to avatars, signatures, and private messages.

that's not to mention that the "conversation" was entirely and completely off-topic anyway.

ok patio i'll give you that , but my post contained no bias , the bias was in someone's mind

i agree with you BCP and it was , BUT if it's good for 1 post why are other posts not closed or off-topic posts delete
at a guess i would say 60% of topics contain off-topic posts , most topics above 15/20 posts contain a lot of off-topic
i and someone else started topics about the off-topic posts and i think i only got about 10 posts so no one is really doing anything about it.
we are ALL doing it and until someone stops it , it will continue
thats me , my fingers are tried , i'm away for a cup of tea ;)

If it's not up to snuff in your opinion then join a Political Forum...
It never has floated well here and never will...hence our Guidelines.
Not saying you were right or wrong...just stating how we do it here.
PS: It has nothing to do with going off Topic...that happens all the time here...it has to do with it turning Political.

i know and i agree with everything you say and the guidelines are right , i made a joke to the comment quantos made about canada on wikileak , and then the road to *censored* open up ;D
it was only an answer to BCP and if there is a rule about off-topic taking place in topics it should be keep to , i visit 3/4 forums and you would never see it , only in the off-topic section or chat

Youre completely missing the point...
It's not because it wandered off topic...
