Title: My lappi is unable to connected to my Wi Fi modem

sir, Recently i got a problem during trying to connect my laptop to Wi Fi modem. A error message has come , like that" svchost.exe Application Error    windows has come. The details of error is like...
The instruction at ox012cf496 referenced memory at "ox012cf496. The memory could not be written"
click Ok to terminate the program
click on Cancel to to debug the program

Afterwords the laptop is hanged
What may be the problem?

please help me out.....

That kind of error often means some infection.
