Hi, Can anyone tell me if there are any pitfalls in purchasing a new Dell laptop here in the UK for use in New Zealand, apart from the plug and probably the warranty.

I'm not sure about added expenses when you claim the laptop at customs, but being in a different country shouldn't affect the warranty - I suggest contacting Dell to make sure though.

Since nobody has asked, why not wait till you get to New Zealand to buy the computer?
