Title: asus gtx570 power connectors
Post by: timwil56 on July 10, 2011, 11:47:41 PM
I have a coolermaster 1000w PSU and the power connector for the graphics card has 2 X 4pin plugs but the graphics card (ASUS GTX570) has 2 plugs, a 6 pin and 8 pin which are side by side. Do I use both connections on the graphics card. Wondering if anybody could help as there seem to be plenty of combinations to use but not an exact match as the instruction manual is a bit light on regarding this

saw the video but it doesn't really explain. Do I need 2 separate feds for the graphics card (6 pin and 8 pin) and can either or both be from the 2X 4pin out of the PSU
