When I find a network work printer in add a printer It will not install the driver it shows a error 0x00004005. Any ideas? Ojas

Thanks for your reply have tried the restore point did not work and by the way the local printer will not print.

What version of Windows?

The printer work well on our other computers in network. I have three other computers networking the same printer they all work fine

OK. You have to install the printer a different way. The following was found an a MS site. They say it really can be done.

I have installed Windows 7 (64-bit).. on my computer, and now I cannot connect to the printer on the Vista machine.... (32 bit)
The answer is nto create a new nport for the printer. See link above for detaled instructions. Read carefully. Let us know.
