Title: No need to clear?
Post by: kop442000 on September 01, 2005, 06:08:46 AM
Hi guys..

I am selling my PC, but I am taking the hard drive out of it.

There is no way that they can access any of my old information without the hard drive right?

Thanks for any replies.

It'll be fine, the hard drive stores all the information about your computer. They'll see bios but thats just system information and will contain nothing that you've put in.

No, all data is stored on the Hard Disk Drive regarding the operating system and your personal files.
