I put together a computer today and I find it funny that it doesn't turn on my monitor, no beeps I cant see anything, the only thing that is working is the fans, hard drive ,dvd rom and the fan for the pentium other wise the video card s fan does not run so I know that is not responding .I tried connecting to the video card and also on the mb, I removed the video card and no video from the mb Is this a dead mb or am I missing something?

Do a few cold boots with the vid card removed and then retry the onboard...
You may have a dead vid card.

Yep did that I still dont get any video from mb should I return?

I would...and test the vid card on another PC to make sure that may need to be returned as well...

Looking at the picture and manual for the motherboard there needs 3 connections from the power supply to the motherboard. Do you have a 4 pin molex connector plugged into by the pc1e slot as well as the square connector and the main power connector.

Ya you might not have all of the power connectors to the motherboard. If not the motherboard may be fried. Good to test all the components on a known working PC too. Might be having a shortage of power from the power supply.
