Title: problems with vista and custom built pc

 When i got to install Windows Vista : it loads the files , then comes up with a bluescreen that says :

 454adb

I dont know why this does this, the only thing i can think of this happening is because the disk has scratches.

AMD Sempron 140 2.7ghz  CPU(unlocked to a Athlon X2 4400e , and overclocked to 3.9ghz)

APEVIA ATX-AS680W-BL 680W  power supply

PCI fast ethernet card
IDE dvd drive out of  a EMachines computer
Cables To Go 50009 floppy drive cable.

You can remove scratches from a DVD with a kit your get in a store that sells DVD players and accessories.
