Title: COMPUTER TURNING OFF

COMPUTER TURNS OFF IN A MINUTE OR TWO AFTER I NTURN IT ON. DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO LOAD UP. OPENED CASE SEEMS TO BE CLEAN AND ALL FAN SEEM TO BE RUNING JUST FINE.

1) What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?
2) Does the same thing happen in safe mode?
3) Please don't post in all caps - it's the online equivalent of SHOUTING. thank you.

My laptop was doing that & it was because it was hibernating.  Go into power options & make sure it's off, that is if no one answers & you get it fixed by another method.

Please tell us more about the computer=make/model? How many ram modules are currently installed?Do you hear any new "sounds" or "lights" during the brief period it runs? Had you been doing anything different immediately prior to this event occurring?When trying to get help more not less information may resolve your problem quicker.truenorth
