i download for windows or ubuntu thank u :)
-
VLC is a player that recognises most formats. Maybe the regional setting is different, but you have not stated where you or your DVDs are from
-
the one i can watch is from BBC some of the ones i cant are also from BBC the one i can is DVD 5 the other one i cant its also from DVD 5 the other i cant is DVD 9
-
DVD 5 and DVD 9 are the size of the DVD not the region. You need to tell us where YOU are and what REGION the DVDs are from.
-

That kind of language is against forum rules, there is no need for it.

They are designations of download size for burning so we may be into a copyright/region code bypass situation...

KM PLAYER IS A GOOD SOFTWARE TO READ ALL FORMATS
KM Player is alleged by many people to install spyware. Probably better not to try it.

You could try a plug-in to WMP.
Some editions of Windows include full-featured DVD playback capability in ... video playback controls and DVD chapter listings to Windows Media Player. ... For the best multimedia experience on your PC, consider upgrading to Windows 7.
Plug-ins for Windows Media Player - Microsoft Windows (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/windows-media-player/plug-ins)
Using XP and WMP I can play DVDs I burnt. (I did not have to buy anything, I had a free version of a codec that came with a DVD drive I bought some time ago.)

Free Codec Installation Package for Windows Media Player (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/windows_media_player.htm)
The k-lite codecs mentioned above (way up there) are great. Fixed vista and MP11. I was very suss, but it worked extremely well.Get them..
Like the guy sez, you look for them at the top of the page. Free things are not always right in your face.

that maybe, but if you google 'free wmp codecs' the link you posted is the third one in the list. I'm pretty sure the OP can google............

You are a real diplomat.
And as to the Google results,, Google now has some new listings that were not around six months ago., or whenever I last checked. More codecs are now free. Anyway, the OP has a choice.

i wouldn't go that far........ ;)
