I am not sure whether my problem is a hardware one or a disc operating system one but if u can't help perhaps u will know someone who can.
I am on a Packard Bell desk top using Windows XP. It is a very old machine, well over ten years old.
I try and run a couple of CD -Roms and when I do I get the error message "Ordinal 1334 could not be located in the dynamic link library IML32.dll".
Does this sound like something you can help with? Hope so.

After googling the error, 328 results were found, this was the first one
