Title: HP Pavillion won't connect to internet

computer won't connect to internet via wifi or ethernet.  CD/DVD drive is not working either.  I ordered a recovery disc and recovered it and wiped it clean but it didn't fix the problem.   ???

Welcome to the CH forums. You will need to provide more information before credible suggestions can be forthcoming. What caused you to do this "I ordered a recovery disc and recovered it and wiped it clean" What is your operating system? Tell us more about the computer. truenorth

And if the CD/DVD drive isn't working, how was it restored from the recovery disc your ordered?
