Title: Screen Saver - slideshow
Post by: obrien1993 on September 22, 2005, 07:25:47 AM
Hello!

I have windows XP.
I found a while ago that my screen saver can be a "slideshow" of the pictures I have taken with my digital camera, which is very fun!  My questions is - I add new pictures all the time to my computer but the new pictures never come up in the slide show, it is like it is stuck on the pictures from the first day I choose this option.  I tried choosing another option and rechoosing my picture slide show as to "refresh" it but that didn't work, any suggestions?  Thanks!

Make certain that the new photos are in the same folder as the old photos.

Thanks, yes they are automatically saved to the same folder.

Try selecting a different path, then press Apply. Once done, switch back to the previous path and click Apply to see if it now does pick up the new photos.

Select a different folder.

And don't use caps locks.

Do you want to use the - screensaver - as a slideshow or do you simply want a slideshow?

If you save your pictures on CDs you might be interested in some of the Powertoys available from MS.
