Hello
According to an online scan I have just done on my iMedia S1800 PC tower, I have the following memory: DDR3 PC3-8500, DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 PC3-12800.
I also have done a scan of a Dell Dimension 2400 that shows the following memory: DDR PC2700, DDR PC3200.
I was hoping to take 1Gb of RAM from the iMedia PC and use it in the Dell Dimension PC, but from the results above does it seem that the two PCs are incompatible?
Many thanks
High1

DDR & DDR2 & DDR3 are not interchangeable. They will not physically fit into each others slots.

Thanks for that, I didn't realise.
Cheers
