Title: how to unschedule chkdsk on next boot?

ok so i accidently scheduled chkdsk on next boot a few days ago
now
it says u have 10 seconds to press any key to skip chkdsk
but my keyboard doesnt light up... its weird but my keystrokes dont do anything, but the keyboard works on bios, but on chkdsk the lights are turned off. this is so freaking gay, help a bro out. win7 8gb ram 64x 500g hdd

To stop it from happening, go to the start menu, hit run, type in "cmd" (Excluding the quotation marks) and type in

chkntfs /x c:

assuming C is your main hard drive, and the only hard drive that it's preforming CHKDSK on. If you have multiple drives, and it's preforming it on all of them, just add them in, so it looks like:

chkntfs /x c: d:

well you can try this if you want to:

Go to your windows installed drive (hope it's C drive) Right click  go properties and tools and click the "Check Now" button it looks something like the Picture I attached.

Then check on the second options saying that "Scan for bad sectors and attempt to recover"

When you click start then it will ask for scheduling on the next reboot then simply click "Cancel" it should stop your scheduled CHKDSK
