Title: Need TapeWare Help Please

I hope someone can help me. I have been searching everyware, but can't get any info.
We do our backups on Travan 20/40 tapes wit the Supplied TaoeWare software. Everything was working well for a while.....and then all of a sudden.Bam......problemo. Can't get TapeWare to do compression. BIG problem!
Please can anyone help me?

For Seagate or Connor tape drives, use Seagate website and download any updated drivers. Irwin has vanished. Most other manufacturers tape drive software may still be found on their current websites or in driver archive sites.

You may need to use a compression program like PowerArchiver and a utility like TapeDrive that makes the tape drives look like big slow floppies, if the regular tape drive software is kaput or nonfunctional with your systems.

Did the Tapeware software quit as a result of an automatic upgrade of some software package or hardware component?
