I recently got this copy so that I could play an mod it ;P
The thing is that I hate the keyboard controls
I have a USB controller adapter that I connected a ps2 controller too
When I go to change it. It sees my joystick but not the controller
Universal USB converter , windows xp pro

Most controllers have specific drivers for them. I'd look for the specific driver for that controller vs using the generic one that the OS chose for it. From there you should have the ability to map button controls etc.

Thats just it though, I have the driver installed that came with it. Works fine for my other games like Halo

Ok, so it the Controls under the Game Options itself it doesnt recognise it as what it is and thinks its a Joystick? (Cant imagine playing a game like that with a joystick and trigger..lol )
If I had this game I'd navigate to this interface and poke around. I dont own this game, so maybe someone here who has it can help or contacting game support from the developers of the game. Sounds like its an issue with the game not supporting your controller for some reason. Most i have seen use the usb keypad controllers with no problems using mfr drivers. But yours is a Play Station 2 controller with a PS2 to USB adapter which is different and might not be supported.

There was a patch from them that was suppose to fix it. However mine is patched an using the keyboard to play it is uncomfortable all together.

Dave - just be aware that if you continue to post replies to Ryuk he will continue to spin your wheels. He has been banned multiple times from this site under different user names for doing exactly that in every thread he creates (ie, Slade, Squall, etc).
